Wormhole Ventures 2.0 [2026]
Invited by Kakeshan (art. dir. Sina Saberi), I contributed to the latest installment of their ongoing Wormhole Ventures initiative. ‘Wormhole Ventures is a series of choreographed interviews with dance artists from around the world; sharing a glimpse of their artistic practice and reality…[Wormhole Ventures 2.0] is an all-new series with a diverse lineup of choreographers with roots in Armenia, Brazil, France, Greece, Iran, and Portugal. The invited artists will explore their connection to dance and choreographic creation.’
For the project, Kakeshan asked for responses to a series of questions aimed at exploring inspiration behind my relationship to dance and choreography. Additionally, I was tasked with creating video material related to my practice. Through the collection of responses from various choreographers, Wormhole Ventures exposes and highlights the overlapping geographies of makers in various parts of the world.

“I create structures and ways of working/ways of observing that I can then take into public space and I can treat public space like a studio. I do that to uncover details about location. But then these locations, these impressions of the locations, are brought back into the traditional studio or a non-traditional performance space and that’s done to build a performative map of place.”
